A couple of weeks ago I went to a Christmas Party (a little late, I know!) hosted by my favorite skydivers, those from Green Bay. That got me really excited about the upcoming spring and summer. Because that equals warm weather, weather where I want to jump. Yes, I know the crew at Green Bay jumps year round, I don't like the cold. Because for how cold it is here on the ground, it is WAY colder up in the air.
With all that said, what I am most excited about is the prospect of doing a static line jump. Till now I have only gone tandem, and nothing to worry about there jumping with a seasoned veteren. I hope I can work up the nerve to hang on the strut, let go, and land safely not in a corn field. There are corn fields and a llama farm up there people have landed in, I don't want to join that! Plus if you land off the airport, you have to buy a case of beer. Free beer is better than bought beer.
